Spacious house with a lot of light. Large front/back yard. There is also a covered balcony out the back.
Buses to the city at the top of the street. The Avondale train station very close.
I will keep the 3rd room open as a miscellaneous space we can share. It has a sofa bed where guests can sleep if they want to visit.

Rent is $220.00 + monthly bills (water, power +fibre internet) The bills vary on usage but would be about an extra $50 per month.

| Sleep-out available at our home on a quiet tree lined street in Mariehau. A 15 minute walk from the Palms and less than 5km from the central city. Close to Orbiter, Orangeline and #44 bus routes.
Sleep-out comes furnished, carpeted and insulated. It isn't self-contained; bathroom, kitchen and other facilities are located very close by in the main house.
Rent includes unlimited internet (via wifi), as well as electricity, fuel for pellet fire (in main house) within reasonable use, and land line phone. Also includes toilet paper, all cleaning supplies and bulk food, including rice, flour, sugar, spices, potatoes, onions and produce from the garden. We have a permaculture edible garden as well as eight chickens who lay enough eggs you would never need to buy them :)
Lounge has a TV with Freeview and a PVR.
You will get decent cupboard space, fridge space and a drawer in the freezer in the main house. We occasionally share meals, but not often due to different schedules and time commitments.
In addition to the chickens there are two cats and a giant rabbit who lives in a hutch by the sleep out and will greet you most mornings, a number of whistling tree frogs also live in the garden. We are open to more pets but sadly can not accommodate dogs, no matter their size, breed or level of training.
The couple in the house own it so there is no property management company to deal with and no flat inspections. However we expect flatmates to clean up after themselves and treat the house with the respect you would give your own.
Automatic payment is the preferred method for paying rent, weekly or fortnightly is OK.
All current residents are vegan or vegetarian, but are open to those with a less strict diet, however only free-range eggs in the house.
Rent is $165 a week for an individual or $200 a week for a couple to cover extra expenses.
LGBTIQ+ friendly.
Smoking OK outdoors.
We won't discriminate if your income is from welfare rather than paid work.
